Our weekly services

WELCOME! You are very welcome to join us for any of our services.

Sundays

10am Our Sunday morning worship is a service of Holy Communion. On the 3rd Sunday of the month we have an All Age Service where everyone stays together in the service. At all other Sundays we have a Sunday School / Explorers (for 5-11s) and there is an unsupervised creche area. Please join us for refreshments afterwards.

6.00pm We continue to do Evening Prayer on Zoom most weeks. This can also be accessed on a normal telephone line. You will need to email Revd Carol for a Zoom invitation shildonparish@gmail.com

First Sunday – a more informal evening service with a small band and contemporary worship songs.

This is at 6pm on the first Sunday of each month starting in church.

The next First Sunday service will be on at 6pm on Sunday 5th May 2024.

Mondays

9.00am Morning Prayer and opportunity to pray in church for the week ahead

Thursdays

11.00am Service of Holy Communion. A shorter service held in the Lady Chapel. Refreshments in the foyer afterwards.

Post Covid

We are continuing to run all of our services and activities as safely as possible. To help us do that, please do not attend any services if you are experiencing Covid-19 symptoms or have recently tested positive. In Communion services during the Peace we are still waving or elbow bumping rather than shaking hands or hugging and we are not yet back to sharing the communion cup of wine.
